This project was about the redesign of the visual identity of Cañamama, Uruguayan entrepreneurship. For this, we took three essential concepts: the superior quality, the handmade work and the sacred or ancestral of the hemp plant. From this I tried to create design pieces that provide some added value to the products that the brand offers. The Cañamama´s products range from hemp-based clothing to natural cosmetic products made from cannabis sativa oil.
As an entrepreneurship highly committed to caring for the environment and the sustainability I tried to generate the less waste as possible at all time. This was really important at the moment to start designing because the products should be totally stripped of unnecessary material. At first this could be seen as a difficulty, but already advanced with the project I was able to verify that this condition helped in a very positive way to the visual aesthetics of the brand, creating extremely clean design pieces that transmit a unique purity in each product.
